Exclusive interview with Fujitsu

It was with great honour that I got the opportunity to interview with Fujitsu’s spokesperson, Mr Edmund Lim, Product Manager, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd on the new Fujitsu LIFEBOOK LH772

About Fujitsu LIFEBOOK LH772
You can now enjoy ultimate sound and visual quality like never before with the Made-In-Japan LIFEBOOK LH772.

The multimedia powerhouse is exquisitely fitted with the ONKYO® Box Speakers that delivers exceptional audio performance and crystal-clear sound clarity. The DTS UltraPC II Plus™ Sound System minimises sound interference while enabling a vast distinction in audio pleasure.
Driven by the powerful, new 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processor, i7 Quad Core on the Intel® Chief River Platform with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, the LIFEBOOK LH772 integrates a dedicated 2GB NVIDIA® Optimus™ graphics and a 14-inch High Definition SuperFine LCD screen, to bring you the perfect balance of performance and long battery lifespan. Immerse and enjoy the melodious symphonic concerts or be amazed by the realistic sound and visual effects from the latest action blockbusters at the luxury and comfort of your home.

With the Japanese Takumi design philosophy in mind, the LIFEBOOK LH772 is housed in 3 beautiful urban colours of Shiny Black, Urban White and Cosmos Pink.
A key strength in Fujitsu’s innovations is the ability to incorporate user-centric features in our notebooks.

The LIFEBOOK LH772 comes with the new Face Sense Utility that intelligently pauses or resumes applications or activities on the LIFEBOOK when human presence is detected. Ergonomically designed with full-sized dichromatic keys and 10-key number pad, the notebook comes with an exquisitely designed textured palm rest to prevent any residual fingerprint while giving a luxurious feel at the same time. The Fujitsu Unique Scroll Wheel, touch pad, Finger Print Recognition Technology and Status LED indicator all come together to provide great convenience and ease of use when working on the LIFEBOOK. Another key innovation is the Fujitsu Patented Ventilation System which is an effective total ventilation solution that allows easy cleaning and maintenance, thus resulting in prolonging the LIFEBOOK’s operational life.
William: What are the most unique features of Fujitsu LIFEBOOK LH772 ?
Edmund: There are quite a few unique points about this machine. One would be the Natural Fit Dichromatic keyboard. It’s a beautifully made keyboard that epitomises Fujitsu’s commitment to design. The colors on the individual keys are not coloured on but made in a 2 step process, layer by layer. The inside joke among us is that we like to call this the Kueh Lapis keyboard. In addition to this, the LH772 is also the first 14” LIFEBOOK that integrates a number keypad on it. You’ll usually only find number keypad on 15” and above laptops but this is a 1st for a 14”. I think this is great, especially for students or even professionals who need this (E.g. Teachers, Accountants etc.)
The other part which I really like about the LH772 is that this is also the first time we are collaborating with Onkyo, a top Japanese audio CE giant, to create a fantastic multimedia laptop. The integrated Onkyo box speaker will provide a great audio experience for users whether they are listening to music, watching a movie or playing games on the machine.

William: This laptop appeal to which type of ppl more?
Edmund: The LH772 is actually an excellent laptop for people for all ages. Whether you are a student, a working professional, a gamer or just someone who is buying a laptop for the entire family, the specifications & features of LIFEBOOK LH772 meets and even exceeds all the minimum requirements.

William: What material is used for the body of the laptop?
Edmund: Material is made of plastic.

William: What is the inspiration to this laptop?
Edmund: Our inspiration originated from the ‘Takumi’ philosophy, which is to pursuit the perfect balance of beauty and functionality in all our notebooks. This applies to the LH772 as well, with its exquisite made in Japan design and touches. To give you a better idea, you may want to take a look at a video we have made depicting the thoughts and insights that goes behind the design and craftsmanship of the LH772

  5. As you will confront boss fights too, during each quest there is a helper and
other companions. Just like an RPG game that was good, every creature,
foe or friend, is related to a certain element, also it's essential you understand how exactly to match
these elements to win in battle.
