A festive delicacy, the time-honoured tasty rice dumplings are back at award-winning Golden Peony from 4th to 18th June 2018. This year, renowned Executive Chinese Chef Ku Keung and team have merged authentic flavours with uniquely sourced ingredients, to create an array of fillings for these customary delights.
The highlight this year is the melt-in-your-mouth 'Gou Bu Li' Rice Dumpling, made with exquisite Iberico Pork Collar and Salted Egg Yolk.
Also making its debut this year are two other new flavours – a healthy Vegetarian Multigrain Rice Dumpling filled with Monkey-Head mushrooms and a sweet Green Tea Lotus Paste Rice Dumpling.
Back by popular demand is the X.O. Sauce London Duck Rice Dumpling, as well as the perennial signature Traditional Hong Kong Style Rice Dumpling.

For the first time in Singapore, Capella Singapore will host the prestigious culinary event, Spanish Gourmet Extravaganza, presenting the finest selections of Spanish artisan foods, wines and spirits.

Spanish Gourmet Extravaganza at Capella Singapore Spanish Gourmet Extravaganza was inaugurated back in 2015, when it first brought Galician cuisine and an exquisite selection of Spanish wines and spirits to the culinary scene of London, and subsequently to many other cities around the world.


From 31 May to 3 June 2018, festival-goers can look forward to a line up of Michelin-starred themed dinners by Chef Yayo Daporta and Chef Rafael Centeno, as well as indulge in selections of tapas and paella delights curated by renowned chefs.

The award-winning father and son sommeliers, Luis and Alejandro Paadín will be directing the wine tasting session during the four-day festival too. The Spanish gourmet fiesta will end on a high note on 3 June with A Taste of Spain Brunch at the The Knolls where an array of Spanish delicacies, perfectly paired with artisanal selections of Spanish wines.

My mum is a strong and independent woman I would said. She woke up early and prepares breakfast for the family every morning without fail. If you will to ask me what are the things most commonly said by her are:

1)  When I about to leave home each morning, she will ask  "Did you take your wallet and key?" as there are cases I forgot to take them in the past.

2) When I was younger, she will tell me to finish my bowl of rice else I will get pimples.

These may be just small things she do, but all from a place of love!


I'm really thankful and appreciate all of the enormous sacrifices she have had to make for the sake of her children and things she done for the family.
