Looking for a unique and innovative mooncake box design?
Look no further, we have one here that's perfect for gifting.

We are absolutely impressed by the mooncake box design from Summer Palace, Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel this year. The theme this year is “Mid-Autumn Nostalgia” (追忆中秋) and it is showcased in a unique mooncake box design that features an elegant textured red box, enveloped in soft felt fabric. A classy carry-and-go modern design, the red and champagne tones form the perfect marriage of colours to accentuate the delicate floral trimmings and patterns lacing the felt carrier. A fun feature for guests is how the felt carrier has also been creatively designed to collapse as a Chinese chess board; with all mooncake boxes boasting its own Chinese chess set for one's gaming pleasure.

Think aromatic Chinese teas, delicious mooncakes and a game of chess in a lush garden setting for a most memorable Mid-Autumn celebration. Summer Palace's mooncake box tells this tale of tradition from the Tang and Song dynasties, where the Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated with family and friends, under a bright full moon; a symbol of peace, prosperity and family reunion “花好月圆人团圆 ”.

You have to try the two new snowskin mooncake flavours inspired by home-grown desserts: Chendol with White Chocolate and Momordica Fruit with Longan, created by Summer Palace's Dim Sum Chef Leong Kwok Sing.

Inspired by local desserts, delight in the new mini snowskin mooncake introductions that are filled with a delectably smooth and fragrant lotus seed paste centre, perfectly infused with familiar flavours of classic Singaporean desserts. Chendol with White Chocolate will delight the palate with its complex sweetness and beautiful fragrance; a kokumi experience, which enhances the creamy flavours and milkiness in the mooncake. The refreshing Momordica Fruit with Longan delivers subtly sweet notes and a dose of antioxidants from the Chinese herb, teasing the palate with faint flavours of Cheng Tng, a must-have all-time favourite to cool-off from the heat.

Not to be missed as well are the signature snowskin selections –Black Sesame Paste with Melon Seeds, refreshing Granny Smith with Lemongrass Chocolate, fragrant Green Tea with Melon Seeds, the classic White Lotus Paste with Yolk and Melon Seeds and our bestseller, Durian.

Indulge, too, in the well-loved baked classics such as the Parma Ham and Pork Floss with Assorted Nuts. Inspired by the flagship Italian restaurant Basilico, this perennial favourite encompasses premium 24-month cured Parma Ham and generous servings of assorted nuts, white sesame and winter melon, balanced with subtle pork floss and orange peel. Other baked highlights include White Lotus Paste with Double Yolk and Melon Seeds, White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk and Melon Seeds and White Lotus Paste with Melon Seeds.

For those looking to indulge, Chef’s Bird’s Nest with Custard promises to please with its decadent custard centre and slivers of premium bird’s nest.

Tea-lightful Tastes
Home to a collection of handpicked aromatic and specialty Chinese teas, Summer Palace offers delightful blends for the perfect pairing. A complementing the Momordica Fruit with Longan mooncake is the Dragon Pearl, hand-scented with fresh flowers, promising a wonderfully sweet and delicate floral scent balanced with the taste of fresh green tea.  Also on the menu is the High Mountain Oolong which is smooth, crisp and light, bringing an ideal balance to the Chendol with White Chocolate mooncake. Other tea selections include Lion’s Peak Dragon Well, for a smooth, sweet and delicate finish; and the classic Pu’er, among others.
