Earlier this month, LG unveiled the latest in its V series of smartphones, the V20. With brilliant new features including Hi-Fi Quad DAC, HD Audio Recorder, Steady Record 2.0, and front and rear wide-angle lens cameras, the V20 is set to deliver the highest multimedia capabilities available on a mobile device.

The world's first smartphone to feature a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAV, the V20 comes complete with 75-stage fine volume and L/R balance controls as well as support for loseless music formats including FLAC, DSD, AIFF and ALAC. If you're not sure what those technical jargons mean, just know that the V20 promises to deliver clearer sound by minimising distortion and ambient noise by up to 50 percent. If that's not music to your ears (pun completely intended), I've no idea what will be!

The HD Audio Recorder on the V20 also represents the next level of sound recording, letting users capture studio quality audio with a wider dynamic frequency range using three high AOP microphones capable of recording sounds surpassing audio recording quality on conventional smartphones. Budding singer-songwriters can also use the Music Recorded feature to create high quality audio by recording singing voices over existing music.

For audiophiles like me, it's always good news to hear when phone makers collaborate with the best headphone manufacturers. In an effort to further enhance audio functions and design, LG continues its collaboration with Bang & Olufsen PLAY. The result is a natural, balanced sound which reflects B&O PLAY's acoustic engineering philosophy. When big brands collaborate, consumers gain. The LG V20 will come bundled with a special pair of B&O PLAY earphones worth $198 for us to start enjoying the ultimate audio experience right away.

The cameras on the V20 is also something worth mentioning. The Steady Record 2.0 feature leverages on Qualcomm Technologies' electronic image stablisation (EIS) 3.0 to record sharper video footage while neutralising shaky images. Video quality is also further enhanced by adjusting objects across frames and minimising distortion caused by rolling shutter for smoother action. Perfect for those jumpshots!

The wide angle capabilities of the front and rear cameras allow consumers to capture more background without having to physically step back. Selfie and wefie lovers, go crazy with the 5MP front camera with a 120-degree that allows you to include many more friends in one single frame.

The dual-lens rear camera comprises of a 16MP with a 75-degree large aperture standard angle lens, and an 8MP with 135-degree lens, the widest available in any smartphone. Now go get those gorgeous vistas and breathtaking landscapes shots!

The LG V20 comes with the mobile user interface LG UX 5.0+ to make it easier to use the multimedia functions tailored to customer needs. The LG UX 5.0+ is an upgraded version of the LG UX 5.0 first introduced on the LG G5. It is also the world’s first smartphone interface to run on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The LG V20 also features Multi-window to display two apps at once in a split screen allowing users to drag text, images, and files from one app to another. The combination of these advancements together with the 5.7-inch main IPS Quantum Display offers the best in multitasking capabilities.

To achieve both a sophisticated look and solid durability, LG uses lightweight aluminum, together with a new silicon-based material. AL6013 metal, found in aircraft, sailboats and mountain bikes, was selected to cover the back of the phone due to its sturdy but light properties. the top and bottom of the phone are made by Silicone Polycarbonate (Si-PC).

Available from November 5, 2016, in Silver and Titan, the LG V20 will retail for S$998 at all M1, Singtel, StarHub and authorized LG Mobile retailers. Each purchase comes with a mobile casing premium pack worth $88 while stocks last.

I want a sharper nose...
I want my pores to be smaller...
I want to have a slimmer face...
I want to look younger....

These were all the concerns that ran through my mind as I walked into Astique Clinic

I'm glad to be back at Astique Clinic few weeks ago to beautify myself again with Dr Matthew Yap. What make me decide to come back again is because the process is painless, fast and simply no downtime to it. Plus Dr Matthew is experienced and I felt comfortable having my treatment with him from my previous sessions.

Having my consultation with Doctor Matthew Yap before the treatment. It is very important to understand what you be doing and clear of the procedure. Do speak to Doctor Matthew Yap if you have any other concern so that he can recommend the best treatment to help you achieve what you want.

Ok let's start!!!

As usual, the clinic usually start with cleansing your face before the treatment.

Applying numbing cream on my face.

I was then told to rest for about 10-15 minutes for the numbing effect to take place.

I was recommended to do the 2 lasers, Medlite C6 with carbon and CoolTouch Pore Toning Laser afterwhich I also underwent Red Light therapy. These all help with oil control and tightening of the pores, to give me smoother and clearer skin.

Waiting in the room for doctor to start the fillers and botox procedures.

Dr Matthew Yap did some marking on my face highlighting the area of my jaw muscles and explained where the Botox will take effect.

The clinic uses Juvederm for my fillers. It is a trusted brand that is used in Singapore.

This is how is look like inside.

I called this the Syringe of magic because it does wonders to my face

Dr Matthew injected the Juvederm filler to my nose bridge area and a bit to my chin, resulting in a slimmer, sharper and more defined look overall.

After the filler procedure, you are able to instantly see the results of the fillers through the mirror.

Next for the botulinum toxin treatment, the clinic uses Botox (another trusted brand used in Singapore), there are other brands in the markets like Dysport that are also commonly used.

It was swift and smooth. I did not feel any pain. The Botox will take about two weeks to a month to take effect and reduce the muscle size.

My happy smile after the procedures and treatments.

And Tadah!!!   Presenting you the instant results on my noses and chin! You can see my nose feature are sharper from the photo! As for my jawline, you might not see any drastic changes yet as it takes two weeks to a month before the full effect can be visibly seen.

This was taken about 3-4weeks later. You can see my jawline is more define and slimmer.
