How was your Lunar New Year??? How many Yusheng have you eaten so far? Two more days (25th Feb 2015) is the 7th day of the Lunar New Year and it is known as Renri (人日, literally Human Day). It is usually on this day, that the tossing of the Yusheng (Lo-Hei Yu Sheng 捞起魚生) is particularly significant (especially for the Cantonese). Yusheng is a salad dish comprising thin slices of raw fish and various spices, mixed as diners toss the ingredients together. Nowaday people have Yusheng not only on Renri but on any day during Lunar New Year. Like myself I had already six Yusheng!!! Where did I buy this Yusheng?
