After more than nine weeks long of watching the contestants battling it out at weekly concerts, and 18 hours a day of watching them on set, we had finally come to a wonderful ending last night with the crowning of our winner at the inaugural Sunsilk Academy Fantasia . The top three finalists, Hui Xian, Irwin and Zhang Chi battled against one another last night, 16 September at St James Power Station for the final showdown! Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry & Ministry of National Development, Mr Lee Yi Shyan was also at the event to grace with us. Panel of judges include renowned lyricist Fang Wen Shan, Guest Judge Lan Bo, and Resident Judges Billy Koh and Li Fei Hui. Special dazzling performances by popular Chinese singer Yu Ke Wei 郁可唯 and local singing sensation Cai Ai Jia ...

Last week, at Dragonfly, the top five finalists, ET, Hui Xian, Irwin, Vee and Zhang Chi staged and sanged 2 songs each- love songs and new songs. Love songs will demonstrate how each finalist showcases his/ her emotions and feelings when performing to the song. New songs will test their abilities on how they want to showcase the song based on their interpretation of the lyrics. It was a real tough fight and the judges must have a hard time choosing the the top 3 to move on for the next round- Grand Finale. So who are the 3 that remained on stage to enter the GRAND FINALE? - - - - - - - Congrats to Irwin Hui Xian, and Zhang Chi. We will see them in the GRAND FINALE.
