Salmon Yu Sheng

Slipper Lobster in Black Pepper
The wonderful thing about this festive season is that I get to indulge in enjoyable recollection of traditional cuisines which was passed down from generations, whereby I feel proud of my Chinese roots.

Enough saying of my recollection, because it really brings me back to the past..

The fish maw soup is scrumptious and it has a distinctive aroma after long hours of cooking in the pot to extract the right flavours and nutrients.
Steamed red garoup
The steamed red garoupa is simply a must have in Chinese New Year, 年年有余, which represent abudance because fish and abundance has the same pronunciation.

The next dish brings the most luck, which is fatt choy. Do you know that fatt choy means "striking rich"? Bringing out from the last two syllables of 恭喜發財. This dish has the best broth with different ingredients combined together, to form fatt choy.

The roasted duck and crispy pork was a well mixture in a dish, the crispy pork spells "Eat me", the skin was so crispy that I can eventually hear it when William was chewing on it.

The waxed duck and sausage rice was served in claypot, which was well cooked with seasoning of the salted fish mixed with the rice, lukewarm served!

Steamed Nian Gao with Grated Coconut

Yam Paste with Ginko Nut
