Sonic Vibe Entered Into Finals

Hi everyone,

Do you know that the Singapore Dance Delight Vol.2 (Finals) will be on this coming Saturday (12 Mar 2011), 7pm at Wavehouse Sentosa.40 Teams had competed on stage at Scape during Prelims.
20 Finalist Team will be back on stage for their Finals at the Wavehouse Sentosa.
Out of which, 1 team will win a 3D2N round-trip (air tickets and accommodations) to compete in Dance Delight Vol. 18, which will be held in September, 2011 in Osaka, Japan. $30,000 worth of prizes will be awarded to the top three winners of Singapore Dance Delight Vol. 2.



Who will that be? I'm as excited as you all too.
Today I have the honour to introduce 1 of the 20 Finalist Teams to you guys.


This group is formed by 4 young & energentic looking guys (Jui Hsin, Benjamin, Freddie Ng & Jin Wen) from Soka Youth Dance Crew. They called their group "Sonic Vibe".

Sonic Vibe have been dancing together for about 3 years, but it's the first time that they are coming together to form Sonic Vibe to join the Singapore Dance Delight.


The Finals will be this coming Saturday (12 Mar 2011) and Sonic Vibe have been busy practicing really hard for it.



Putting all their effort into each step and movement to make it perfect. (Not easy)


I believed even a movement like this have to go through a lot of trial and error.




Making use of the reflection from the glass at Scape to practice. That was a good idea!




I'm not kidding. They had been practicing till late. And all this is because they want to show you the best performance this Saturday.

Why did they want to join this competition?

Sonic Vibe:

"In Japan's dance scene, Japan Dance Delight is a huge competition where great dancers join in the competition. Local dancers knew about this competition as well and we've been watching it through DVDs. Last year, when Singapore had it's first Singapore Dance Delight, watching the dance competition gave us the strong urge and desire to want to join in this year's competition. As much as competing is involved in a competition, to us, we want to use this opportunity to show others what we can do, and at the same time, it's a good gauge to know where we stand and how we can improve our dance from this competition. It is the learning and training process that matters more to us. We're all about having fun."
