If you have seen me in person, you will know that I don't have perfect skin.

I have enlarged pores. This is partly due to the bad acne problem I had when I was young. Because of that, I feel embarrassed when people look at me closed up.

How is the procedure like?
There is simply no downtime for this procedure because the Laser skin rejuvenation does not affect the outer layers of skin. During the procedure, the skin is thoroughly cleansed, and laser-protective goggles are placed over the eyes. A topical anesthesia can be used if the patient requests for it.

There will be an invisible laser beam which is directed at your face, heating up the deeper layers of the dermis to stimulate collagen production. The Medlite laser offers a very comfortable treatment and the sensation can be described as a “tingling” feeling.

As you can see from the photo above, the female assistant holding on to a pipe on her hand, that is actually like a cooler blower to cool your skin so you will not feel any discomfort during the procedure. One session will take approximately 45 minutes.

After the laser session, you might see mild to moderate redness on your face and it is normal. But the redness usually fades within an hour after treatment.

Patients can put on makeup immediately and resume their daily activities.

One thing to note is to avoid the sun for 1 to 2 weeks after laser treatment.
