Have A Break, Have an Art Jamming

Hi everyone,
I got one good news to share with you all! My "Have a break, Have fun at the Zoo" blog entry got selected into the finals of Kit Kat's Yer Big Break! Blog Challenge! I'm really happy to be blogging for my favourite chocolate- Kit Kat and I will do my best for the challenge as well as sharing good stuffs with you all.

Do you all know?
Created in 1935 in UK, KIT KAT® was first known as Rowntree Chocolate Crisp. Two years later, the name was changed to the iconic moniker of KIT KAT® as we know it today. And in 1988, KIT KAT® became a key part of Nestlé’s range of confectionery products. And today it has become an all-time favourite chocolate!

And you sure cannot forget this catchy phrase “Have a break, have a Kit Kat®”, it was used to describe the enjoyment of the chocolate-coated wafers whenever one needs to have a break whether at work, school or at play! It is a great party snack too!

And that is why in this blog post, I'm going to share with you some activity you can do when you want to "Have a Break".

We are going to the My Art Space for Art Jamming!!!

21 Tanjong Pagar Road, #04-01 Singapore 088444 (Situated in row of shop-houses next to Fairfield Building and Maxwell Market).

Thanks to Kit Kat for this wonderful gift! They are actually some art and craft material for us to play at home. I find it really CUTE!

While waiting for the rest of the blogger to come, I got the chance to explore around the workshop.

Nice painting around the classroom by some of the students.

I noticed this very cute picture of a clown and quite like it! Very cute right!

The bloggers paying attention to our Art "Shifu".

These are actually acrylic paint. Acrylic paint is a faster drying paint and it can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. The finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting.

The different sizes of paintbrush to use for painting.

Ok student, please put on your apron before you start painting!
I felt like going back to primary school having my art and craft lesson. Haha...

Alright I'm all ready prepared to do paint my picture!

I was given a theme "Have a Break" to paint...
What do I think of when thinking of "Have a Break"?

After about 1 hour...

I'm done with my artwork!
Are you guys excited of what I painted?

Ok here I present to you my artwork...

Here is my artwork! How was it nice?
It is green grass, tree with a nice blue sky background.
I'm a nature lover and when I thought of Have a Break, I thought of this in my mind!

Imagine lying down on the grass under this shady tree, looking at the beautiful cloudy sky... Letting the wind blow in your face as you enjoying the scenery... Heaven right...

How do u find my painting? I hope it does made u feel RELAX!!!

Haha... what happened to my hands?

No la I was a bit playful! I went to play with the paint with my hands! I find it so interesting that these colour paint can create a lot of nice artwork when you try painting with them.

Start exploring it yourself. Creativity comes when you dare to try! Who know you can paint better than me a lot.

Hmm... let me show you what others had done!

The panda painting is Cute!

The lady smoking Kit Kat... Interesting too!!!

More artworks by other bloggers. Let your mind flows with ideas and creativity!!!

Yongwei's painting was funny! He said it is a boy dressing in Chinese New Year clothes! Haha...

And the one on the right is Angie's artwork.

Other interesting artworks also include this "Alien also love Kit Kat..." done by Nabil. Quite COOL right!

Hongpeng's idea (Center) was quite cool too with the different angle viewing to his picture- Sea and Grass. Not forgetting the hidden words in this painting, did u noticed it? The one at the right end was Kaiyi's artwork. He drew a pink cloud with people dancing with music on top. Seem like a heaven place to me.

Angie sharing with us her picture!

Alvin's Panda painting was CUTE!

Just in time for the upcoming "KUNGFU PANDA 2" movie too hor!!!
But he elaborated as like his new borned baby and himself. Taking care of his baby!

I truely agreed that looking at baby is a form of having a break as they are so CUTE, helps de-stress yourself from work!
Janet's "Have a Break" idea was to do with music and beer! I like it! =)

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. But i guess everything was worth it in the end.  2) What was the prep process like? From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. It really made me tear up seeing how emotional he got while on his knee 2) What was the prep process like? The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Though vigorous, I felt that they were all enjoyable with the class of 2022 around. 3) Are there any nervous moments and stress factors during the competition and how did you deal with it? Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
