Synopsis of the movie:
From Academy Award®–winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton comes “John Carter”—a sweeping action-adventure set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars). “John Carter” is based on a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, whose highly imaginative adventures served as inspiration for many filmmakers, both past and present. The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.

What would you do, or how would you imagine your life, if you found yourself on Mars now, a stranger in a strange new land?




I always like fantasy movie like this and it would be real fun if I can live there (Minus away the war part)! I can make friends with the creatures at the new land. And there is lot of nice scenery to CAMWHORE!!! So it will be really fun and adventurous for me!!!



Don't you all like to join me too? We can form our own gang and fight all the monster together, be the LEGENDARY HERO!!! Hahaha...



John Carter comes from a novel written by Burroughs who famously wrote the story of Tarzan. John Carter in all his well-sculpted grandeur has left a trail of honor, courage, brute strength and otherworldly romance from novels to comics, TV and now the big screen in 3D.


The movie prepares to blow minds with a star cast (Taylor Kitsch as John Carter and Lynn Collins as Princess of Helium) and expert story-telling, led by winning director Andrew Stanton who absolutely loves the story.
