Japan's Top Ramen Chain Ramen Kagetsi Arashi Restaurant in Singapore

Last Friday, I went to Ramen Kagetsu Arashi at The Cathay
Ramen Kagetsu Arashi was ranked third most ramen chain in Japan with more than 290 outlets worldwide. Within a short span of 6 months, Ramen Kagetsu Arashi alreadly opened 3 outlets in Singapore. And they are the No.1 ramen chain in Japan for Garlic Tonkotsu broth.
Ginjiro Ramen ($13.90)

The new Ginjiro Ramen features a very unique broth – a culmination of simmering pork bones for long hours, before adding dried bonito, kelp and other ingredients to create an explosion of flavors. It is the no.1 selling ramen in their outlets in Japan and Taiwan.

Another highly addictive. Kagetsu Ramen original is rich in collagen and a definite must-try.

Itameshi Dry Curry Rice ($12.90)

The Itameshi Dry Curry Rice – one of the latest food trends in Japan! Japanese curry has been around for the longest time but this dry curry is a new curry permutation that is set to bring out the “umami” sensation (the fifth taste - pleasant savory taste)

The rice is slightly scorched to create a crispy texture and smoky aroma.
Even those who cannot take spicy food will relish the perfumed mixture.

You may also like to order their Gyoza ($6).

Encased in crispy pastry skin is juicy pork meat filling. The skin is specially imported from Japan and even after frying it retains it crispiness and chewy texture. They are great for sharing with your friends and family.

INTERVIEW WITH MR WORLD SINGAPORE 2022 (SENIOR): S3 UMAR ABDUL HAMID

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. But i guess everything was worth it in the end.  2) What was the prep process like? From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

My Honest Review of the LUMOS Tablet — Budget-Friendly, Surprisingly Capable

I’ve always had a soft spot for discovering local tech gems — and that’s how I stumbled onto the LUMOS Tablet. You probably know LUMOS for their projectors, but they’ve recently launched a tablet that caught my attention. Spoiler: For the price, it actually delivers. Here’s my personal take after using it for a couple of weeks — plus the specs you’ll want to know. ⸻ First Impressions Unboxing the LUMOS Tablet felt like a good start. It has a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS Display (1920 x 1200), which immediately stood out — bright, clear, and vibrant enough for Netflix marathons or YouTube spirals. The tablet weighs around 500g and has a sleek, modern design that doesn’t feel cheap at all.
