Have you try the Ramen at IPPUDO?

Hey guys!
I just came back from a Japanese Ramen dinner at Ippudo (Mandarin Gallery)!
I'm so in love with their ramen!!! Really delicious and yummy!!!

Well, it is sure one of the Best Ramen eating place in Singapore if you want me to recommend.
Scroll down and you will find out why.

A group of happy OpenRicers at the Ippudo Restaurant (Mandarin Gallery).

Well this place is so POPULAR as you can see from the photo.
Try to be there before 5.30pm if you don't want to wait too long queuing.
This place is always crowded, especially lunch and dinner hours.

You can choose to eat at the bar counter and watch the chef do the cooking too.

The light sure looked interesting and nice!

Okay we started off with Appetisers and sides!!!
So 1st up we had....

 Goma Q
Fresh Japanese Cucumber with sesame.\
Crunchy!!!

 Pork Bun
This is one of  my all time favorite!

It is actually steamed bum with braised pork and Ippudo's original sauce!

 Crispy Corn
Smoked taste corn.
Crispy and tasty!!!

Well we sure looked like some animals holding our corns right...
So CUTE!!! Hahaha...
(Estelle, Jay and me)

 (Ck & Estelle)

 Spicy Shrimp Mayo
Lightly battered deep fried prawns in a spicy mayonnaise dip.

 Beef Tataki
Pan-seared tender beef slices served with a tangy sauce on the side.

Shimomaru Moto-aji  Ramen
Ippudo's original tonkotsu broth served with thin noodles, rosu chasu (Pork Loin), cabbage, Kikurage & spring onions. Classic Hakata-style ramen.

Their ramen is a MUST TRY when you go there.
Because their noodles is unlike any other ramen in Singapore, you get to choose soft, medium or hard when ordering. The soup over here is very flavorful and delicious I must say cause it is the only place which I finished all of the soup in my bowl.

Akamaru Shin-aji Ramen
Ippudo's original tonkotsu broth enhanced with special blended miso paste and fragrant garlic oil. Served with thin noodles, buta bara (Pork Belly), kikurage and spring onions. A refined, modern style ramen.

You can also choose to add a soft boiled egg (tamago) if you want.
I wanna how they cooked it this way!
So unique...

Karaku-Men Ramen
This is Ippudo's original tonjotsu broth with special spicy miso and ground pork.
I'm sure spicy lover will love this!

Yuzu Sherbet taste yummy! What a refreshing dessert to end our dinner...

 With blogger, Huiyan

 With Junhui

Awww... The pretty PR lady- Estelle passing us the goodie bag from Ipuudo and OpenRice...

 We had all tried IPPUDO!!!

Me and Junhui taking a photo with the Japanese Chef.

Choose your favorite texture (Soft, Medium, Hard) of the ramen at Ippudo!
We like the"Hard" one, what about you? =)

INTERVIEW WITH MR WORLD SINGAPORE 2022 (SENIOR): S3 UMAR ABDUL HAMID

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. But i guess everything was worth it in the end.  2) What was the prep process like? From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

Here’s my personal take after using it for a couple of weeks — plus the specs you’ll want to know. ⸻ First Impressions Unboxing the LUMOS Tablet felt like a good start. It has a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS Display (1920 x 1200), which immediately stood out — bright, clear, and vibrant enough for Netflix marathons or YouTube spirals. The tablet weighs around 500g and has a sleek, modern design that doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s light enough to toss in your tote or backpack without feeling like you’re carrying a brick. ⸻ Under the Hood – Technical Specs Here’s a quick look at what powers this tablet: • Processor: Octa-Core 2.0GHz • RAM: 4GB • Storage: 64GB (expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD) • Operating System: ...
