Celebrate Health, Fitness and Positivity, Stay Drug-free

The Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign 2015 celebrates its 20th Anniversary with a carnival held at Suntec City Convention Centre Hall 403 on 26 and 27 June (these two days). There is a special 20th anniversary photo and timeline exhibition showcasing how the community and government have worked together since 1995 to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and to rally support for the anti-drug cause.  Visitors are able to make an anti-drug pledge using their own mobile devices and see their pledge projected onto the media wall at the carnival. You  can submit your anti-drug pledge here . Anti-Drug Ribbon collar pins will be distributed at the carnival and other venues and can be worn to show your support for the anti-drug cause.  What should you look out for at this carnival? IPPIN CAFE BAR, A Home Concept Japanese Cafe Bar

You have probably been to many Japanese restaurants, so what's different with IPPIN? Isn't it just another place offering Japanese food? Well, for one, it's a cafe bar, meaning that ambience wise, it is more chillax. If you are looking for some simple Japanese dishes and looking for a drink, this is the place to pop by. As mentioned, IPPIN is a cafe bar, so you can get drinks be it green tea, sake or craft beer.  They serve three types of green tea, Houjicha, Genmaicha and Sencha. Each of them taste different with the Genmaicha being more mellow and the Sencha being more bitter. Ask for recommendations if you are uncertain of which to try. Moving on to the main dishes, they have Oyakodon, chicken and egg on rice.  Would you be surprised to learn that there is barley in the rice? It's a health thing, since barley does have its vitamins and I guess it also provides some form of texture to the food. The dish is kind of wet in a good way, ...

Back then during my teenage days looking for jobs was not easy, I rely a lot on newspaper to look for suitable part-time jobs.  For me, it was a rememorable experience! I could still recall how excited I was trying to look for my 1st part-time job to earn extra income so that I can buy my favorite stuffs without spending my parent's money.
