Meet & Greet Sessions with Fabio Cannavaro for Tiger Street Football 2013‏

Singapore, 17 October 2013 - Tiger Street Football returns to the streets of Singapore on 18 and 19 October 2013 and it will be held at Event Plaza at Marina Bay Sands. Hence, with the promises of the exciting upcoming competition, those football players are ready to show off their skills and diverse styles associated with 5-a-side street football.

Tiger Street Football Singapore is set to thrill local football fans with a showcase of the best street football action from local and international teams. Presented by internationally acclaimed Tiger Beer and organized in partnership with FOX International Channels and SPORTFIVE Asia, the highly anticipated tournament aims to elevate the level of play and passion for football on the streets of Singapore. This year, the tournament will see legendary Italian superstar Fabio Cannavaro coming onboard as the official Tournament Ambassador. Cannavaro led Italy to its first World Cup in 24 years and won the prestigious FIFA wold player of the year and Ballon d' Or in 2006.

They will be hosting this year tournament at Marina Bay Sands against the backdrop of amazing Singapore city skyline. The tournament in Singapore will feature 32 local teams battling it out in the National Finals on Friday, 18 October, for cash prizes of USD3,000 and USD1,500 awarded to the first and second placed teams respectively. The champion of Friday's competition will automatically qualify for the Grand Finals in Ho Chi Minh City,Vietnam on 9 November.

Tiger Beer will be hosting a meet and greet session with Tournament Ambassador and former FIFA World Player of the Year, Fabio Cannavaro, for all football fans in Singapore on 17 October (7:00pm to 8:00pm) and 18 October (9:00pm to 10pm).

Held at Event Plaza@Marina Bay Sands, the sessions will provide fans with the opportunity to get up-close and personal with the man who led Italy to victory in the 2006 World Cup.

Fans who would like an autographed memento to commemorate the occasion can bring along their personal football merchandise to the event. The first 100 fans to arrive at each session will also receive a limited edition Tiger Beer football memorabilia.

1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. It really made me tear up seeing how emotional he got while on his knee 2) What was the prep process like? The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Though vigorous, I felt that they were all enjoyable with the class of 2022 around. 3) Are there any nervous moments and stress factors during the competition and how did you deal with it? Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
