Singapore Zoo Outing with my friends (Photo taken with CASIO EXILIM EX-ZR1500)

We're goin' to the zoo, zoo, zoo...
How about you, you, you?
You can come too, too, too...

Thanks Daniel for inviting me to the Singapore Zoo with them!
It's had been donkey years since I last step into the Singapore Zoo!

(From left: Me, Benedict, Daniel and Hp)

This is the only camera I brought for my zoo outing!
It is the CASIO EXILIM EX-ZR1500 which was launched in July 2014!!!

This camera is the latest addition to its High Speed EXILIM line of high-performance digital cameras.

Some of the outstanding features includes:
-new make-up function, motion shutter
-180-degree LCD tilt screen
- built-in tripod stand that promises impressive photographs and beautiful self-portraits.

Responsive photography to capture every moment
You will never miss a moment again with the high-speed continuous shutter function which take up to 30 frames per second, perfect for capturing fast moving subjects. They call this the Triple Shot function, which captures the image immediately before, during and after the shutter is clicked.

Not just that... The camera have a fast start up time of only 0.99 seconds, high speed autofocus in 0.15 seconds, a lighting fast shutter response of 0.015 seconds and a rapid capture interval as short as 0.25 seconds! This is all make possible because the camera is equipped with  EXILIM engine HS Ver.3, a dual-CPU and two parallel image processors.

The quick and intuitive function ring around the lens further enhances user experience where they can select from nine zoom settings in addition to the regular zoom. This allows users to quickly set the exposure value shift, shutter speed and white balance.

Here are some of my accomplishment:

 The False Gavials (Malaysian Crocodiles)
Quite easy to shoot them actually cause they usually don't move so much unless feeding time.

 Squirrel
This animal is not easy to shoot cause they are quite shy and usually jump around the tree in fast speed.

 Flamingo

The flamingos were easy too. Cause they normally posed for your camera and hardly move.

 Racoon Dog
Although they call this animal the Racoon Dog, but they don't bark like a dog.
Not a problem shooting them.

 White Tiger
White Tiger at the Singapore Zoo is one the main draw. I only manage to capture her sleeping.

 Hippo
They can be quite easy to shoot too. See she seem to be staring into my camera...

 Tree Kangaroo
They can be quite active and difficult to shoot too. Always hide behind the tree, but I caught you! haha....

Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia
This place looked like "花果山水帘洞" in the Journey To The West.

Hamadryas Baboons
Somehow they always looked like they know a lot of things when they stare at us.

 Nubian Ibex
Somehow this animal reminded me of Loki, the character in THOR.
This animal is always on top there. I have to zoom my camera to capture this photo.

Benedict decided to take a photo with the 3 statues.

Preventing it from falling off... =p

Spotted a baby Hamadryas Baboon sitting one corner.

 Elephant

 Bamboo trees

 Orchid flowers

 Elephant ride

Frozen Tundra is a new exhibit for 2013 featuring polar bears.

The Polar Bear taking his afternoon nap... So carefree...

She even clapped her hands to get audience to clap for her. So smart!

 It's FEEDING TIME!!!
We got to see her swimming in the water. So cute right!

 The kids love her!!!

 White Rhinoceros
White rhinos are considered near threatened in the wild on the IUCN’s* Red List of Threatened species.

 Nyala
They are also called inyala, is a spiral-horned antelope native to southern Africa.

 Zebra

We realized our tops are also black and white like a Zebra!

 Visitors feeding the giraffes.

 They have very long tongue!

I'm a happy giraffe after eating!

 Some weird poisonous frog...

Some of the frogs can really bleng themselves with the surrounding colour very well.

Trying out the waterfall effect mode in my camera.

 Ring-Tailed Lemur

 They got really long tails...

 Bats

Not sure what is the name of this bird, but look like a fat pigeon with a hairdo.

 Ape
Theyy reminded me of Planet of the Ape.

African Penguins
Hmm I thought penguins only survive in cold countries but I was wrong.
They have pink glands above their eyes, which are used for thermoregulation. The hotter the penguin gets, the more blood is sent to these glands so it may be cooled by the surrounding air, thus making the glands more pink. They are so cute to have it on photo!

Taking selfie shot is so much easier and fun with Casio Exilim-ZR1500!
With the new make-up function, you can take beautiful selfie shot and make adjustment of your skin smoothness to 12 levels and enhancement of skin tone according to a scale of six stages from light to tan.

Secret... This is why I looked more fair and blemish-free on photo than in person...

The 180-degree tilt-type LCD screen and built-in tripod also allows for the perfect ‘selfie’ and ‘wefie’ (group self-portraits) as users can view themselves while composing their well-framed shot. For self-portraits that need to be taken from a distance, the motion shutter makes capturing the moment that much easier as a wave to the camera is all that is needed to initiate the self-timer.

Personally I think this is a very handy camera to bring around, especially if you like to take selfie photo and don't like too bulky camera. This camera will be perfect for you and it can fit into you pocket too!

That's all I have you all! I hope you enjoy reading my blog and also the photographs taken using the latest CASIO EXILIM EX-ZR1500!
