Hotel Review: M Social Singapore (Loft Terrace Room)

World Health Organisation (WHO) just declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic - something that hasn't been declared since the H1N1 flu pandemic in 2009.

Is the convid-19 affecting your holiday plan?
If yes, you may consider re-visiting some of the Singapore's attractions that you have not been to many years or have a pampering local staycation in Singapore?

I recently had an enjoyable stay at one of Singapore's most instagramable hotel- M Social Singapore with my friends. The hotel offers 293 beautifully appointed rooms along an idyllic stretch of Robertson Quay.

There are 5 types of rooms available for you to choose from:

Alcove Cosy Room - Luxurious haven with a 4m-tall pitched roof and iconic alcove ceiling.

Alcove Terrace Room - chapel-inspired ceiling enhanced with an additional Terrace garden that’s perfect for moments of Zen.

Loft Gallery Room - Luxurious haven with a 4m-tall pitched roof and iconic alcove ceiling.

Loft Premier Room - A duplex-style loft with a double bed on the mezzanine level and expansive ground-floor with a desk and area to lounge.

Loft Terrace Room - A duplex-style Loft with your own private balcony or terrace. Bed can be located on either level. (Most Popular)

I stayed in the Loft Terrace Room which is really beautiful, cozy and spacious.

Combine lofty heights with your own private terrace, it is definitely worth taking photo for your gram! Do note that the layout of the room may be different. Some of the room may have the bed on the mezzanine level and the lounge area on the ground floor. I love the extremely-tall windows where you can enjoy natural light shining in. If you find it too glaring, the blinds can be drawn effortlessly.

The bed comes with 4 pillows and it is very comfortable.

You will find control to the lights on each side of the bed. I like how I'm able to to dim and adjust the lights to the right amount I need for reading or watching my netflix on my bed.

Every space is carefully thought to make sure you have a great stay.

There are hangers for you to hang your clothes. Bathrobes are provided.

Tea, Coffee, kettle and coffee machines provided. There is also a mini bar fridge with 2 bottles of mineral water bottles ready to refresh you.

Basic toiletries like your toothbrushes and toothpastes are provided.

Sorry for those who are looking for room with bathtub, this room does not have a bathtub but instead a rain shower for a relaxing, soothing bath experience

For those staying with friends, the shower blinds can be closed with the turn of a dial!

On the mezzanine level is the lounge area.

There is a long comfortable sofa that is able to accommodate 3-4 pax. There is also a 40-inch HDTV with bluetooth ingration and a selection of cable channels. As I have mentioned before, if your bed happens to be on the ground floor, the TV will actually be on the mezzanine level (which I personally will not like as much). You will also be able to find a Handy' smartphone that offers unlimited international and local calls, unlimited 3G data and city guide access.

For those who need a desk to do your work, you can find a small working desk with a chair at the upper deck too.

Yes the room comes with an outdoor area for you to chill too.

I was actually telling my friends if they turn the outdoor area into a outdoor jacuzzi will be even more shiok.

Complimentary breakfast at Beast & Butterflies

At night, Beast & Butterflies is a great place to chill out with friends over delicious cocktails by Mixologist Vlad Yesepiv.

The hotel offers in-room dining services too.

You can also find fully- equipped gym and a swimming pool at level 5

It is the perfect place to hang out or relax after a busy day with your friends or loved ones.

    What is acne?
a universal skin problem that affects sufferers’ self-esteem. acne is formed by a collection of sebum (oil), bacteria and dead cells trapped in the lining of the hair follicle (skin pore). normally the lining of the hair follicle sheds a layer of dead skin cells at regular intervals. secretions from the sebaceous gland in the skin push the dead skin cells to the surface. when excessive oil is being produced however, the dead cells will clump together, forming a block at the opening of the hair follicle. when bacteria, which naturally occurs within the hair follicle, starts to break down the material accumulated within the clogged pore, irritating fatty acids are produced. this will cause pressure to build up within the pore, and the pore will be swollen. redness and inflammation also occur in response to the infection thus causing an acne to form. if mishandled unprofessionally, it will break out of the hair follicle to infect neighboring skin.
