My Staycation at Conrad Centennial (King Bed Executive Room)

During the F1 week, I did a staycation with Conrad Centennial Singapore. The cozy Conrad Centennial is situated in the center of Singapore close to Chinatown, Little India and Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum. Built in 1996, the hotel is a combination of contemporary architecture and modern facilities. The hotel boasts a fitness center with a gym and fitness classes. Strategically located in Marina Bay district, surrounded by convention centers and exhibition centers. Just 2km from the center of Singapore known for Suntec Singapore, Fountain of Wealth and Marina Bay Sands Skypark. The hotel offers great location close to a river and parks. 

The hotel is also walking distance (250m away) to mrt train station (Promenade) and 20km to the Changi airport.

I stayed in a well-furnished King Bed Executive Room offering 40-43 sq. m./430-463 sq. ft. of contemporary luxury with additional Executive Floor privileges including a champagne breakfast, evening cocktails with hors d'oeuvres, an all-day open bar, afternoon tea and fruit plate on arrival.

The Executive room features a 46-inch TV with home theater system, CD player and free WiFi access. 

Why stay in the executive floor?

Because you will get 2 hours meeting room usage and you can request for late check-out at 1800hrs (both subject to availability) and a complimentary selection of music and movies from a CD and DVD library.

Guests of this room also receive free light pressing of up to five items of clothing on arrival, complimentary local calls, 20 percent off on a la carte spa treatments, butler service (upon request prior to arrival), in-room safe, minibar, daily turndown service and a selection of 15 types of pillows from our pillow menu. Wow I'm sure there's one pillow you will enjoy best!

There is also a small window overseeing the Garden by The Bay and Singapore Flyer.

There is also a in-room safe in the room if you have any valuable that you want to keep.

Even umbrella is also provided. You can tell how thoughtful they are.

And because it is F1 period, I got this very unique F1 dessert and chocolate.

Beside the complimentary fruit plate on arrival, you will also find the a complimentary teddy bear in F1 theme that you can bring home. According to the hotel staff, they usually dressed up the bear for different occasion and for other country they have different animals. If you like them, you can collect one by one from different countries.

Breakfast at Oscar's

Savor local and international cuisine - buffet style and à la carte - in the friendly, vibrant atmosphere of Oscar's. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Open 24 hours on Fridays to Sundays, eve of and on Public Holidays.

Guests who are staying in the executive floor have the option to either have champagne buffet breakfast in the lounge or Breakfast at Oscar's.

Love the porridge with so much condiments you can top with.

So that's my hearty breakfast!

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is fully equipped with the latest exercise equipment including bicycles, cross-trainers, Cardio Wave machines, Technogym treadmills, fitness accessories and free weights. Resistance training sessions are also offered.

Outdoor Swimming Pool

 The 20 meter/65 feet outdoor swimming pool provides a peaceful setting in which to exercise with a few laps of the crystal-clear waters. There is also a pool bar just beside the pool.

The Terrace

The Terrace provides a trendy option, with take-away or dining in artisan sandwiches, signature muffins, cookies and premier coffee.

Try out the delicious Cruffins available at The Terrace! Pronounced as "Kraf-fin", this buttery treat is a hybrid between croissant and muffin. It is baked and presented in the shape lf a muffin, layered with flaky French buttery dough to give it the pull-apart texture like a croissant, filled with sweet delights.

You can choose from 4 different type of fillings: Chocolate Ganache, Pastry Custard, Rasberry Marmalade and Blueberry.The Cruffins are priced at S$3 each at The Terrace in #conradsingapore. I overheard that the best seller is the Custard flavour, so do try it! They are especially great for breakfast and even for afternoon teabreak with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

Golden Peony Restaurant
