Are you planning a trip to the snow-capped mountains this year? It is a brilliant opportunity to find out how you can best enjoy your travels and ski trips from Singapore’s First Snow Travel Expo happening in Snow City! There is a series of talks by Snowsports Coaches and Travel Specialists lined up every hour between 11am and 8pm to equip you with information such as ‘Learning to dress in the Right Gear for your Winter Expedition’, ‘Injury Prevention for Skiing’ and where to book flights and choose top resorts with the best value! Other exciting and free activities include trying out to Ski and Snowboard, Ice Cream making, Snowman building and Snow storm and blizzard experience! Snowsports equipment will be provided, just make sure you are wearing long pants and socks!

Wonderful ski parade by instructors and coaches.

As someone who had experienced a bad injury from my first ski trip on Cypress Mountain, Canada, I wish I knew the importance of proper training and preparation then, especially if I had access to experienced coaches!

Last evening, SportQuest extended the invitation to us to find out more about this inaugural snow event! It was certainly exciting to participate in the Snowsports Try Outs! I was exposed to snow skiates (by Snow Mons) for the first time! Coach Yi Ji Ha from Korea was so patient with me as he helped me overcome my fear of falling and ensured I did not fall as I made my way down the slope. The kids were all doing great in their skiing too, thanks to the instructors from ClubMed!

Introduction to Singapore's First Ski and Snow Open by Emeline, Founder of SportQuest

If you are heading to Korea soon, be sure to say hi to Coach Yi Ji Ha from Snow Mons,
he will be able to give you some great tips!

For those who are contemplating a trip to Japan, you can also come down to find out about skiing and ski resorts in Japan through a sharing by Risa Nishimura san, Managing Director of Follow Me Japan!

It’s going to be a busy weekend in Snow City, hence register a spot to experience skiing and snowboarding under the guidance of skilled instructors!

Finally, a quick tip that I have learnt from Emeline, Founder of SportQuest is.... five ski lessons with SportQuest will get you ready to hit the green slopes (beginner ski trail) on the mountains! (Each lesson is 2 hours) This way, you can comfortably maximise your time on the slopes when you are at the ski resort!

From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. It really made me tear up seeing how emotional he got while on his knee 2) What was the prep process like? The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Though vigorous, I felt that they were all enjoyable with the class of 2022 around. 3) Are there any nervous moments and stress factors during the competition and how did you deal with it? Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
