Do Singaporeans dress badly?

Hi everyone! Have you start your GSS shopping ? Well if you haven’t, you may do so from now till 26th July 2009. And for this season of Great Singapore Sale, Nuffnang hosted a blogging contest and like to hear from the blogger's point of view on this topic "Do Singaporeans dress badly?" This is a great chance for me to voice out my opinion for this topic. Asking myself again this question ”Do Singaporeans dress badly?” Well if we will to compare our fashion with Japan, I would said Singaporean dressed very safe. Maybe it also part of our Singapore culture that we are quite conservative. But that doesn’t mean Singaporean are not willing to take up fashionable dressing. We do have our own unique way of fashion sense too. I think Singapore we will never follow the fashion of Japan till that extent of Guys having hairclip on their hair and girl having super long eyelid. (ha...) I still prefer Singapore Fashion Style, is more easy to accept. Here are some photograhs I took ...

Mount Faber with Jasmine

Last Saturday, went Mount Faber with Jasmine... I had always wanted to bring her up there but the other time the weather was bad and we did not managed to get up there. This time finally we are able to do so. It's always good to go to places you seldom go... Experience something different from your day to day life... If your life is so rountine, you might feel so boring... Plan on an outing with your close ones, friend or family... And be sure to experience something nice just like me... The air is fresh up there! Feel a bit like in Genting I think... Quite relax... Windy... Enjoy the greenery.... The birds chipping on the trees... The squirrel jumping tree to tree... Simply love the nature so much! And of cause the company of my dear make it even more perfect! Anyway this is what I prepared for Jasmine on that day. Some Ham Sandwiches and Chicken Nuggets... We had Ribena to quench our thirst too!

Singapore has First H1N1, Swine Flu Case (27 May 2009)

So the H1N1 virus had spread to Singapore! A 22-year-old Singaporean woman who was in New York from May 14-24, is down with the swine flu. This is Singapore's first reported case. The patient arrived back in Singapore from New York on SQ25 on 26 May at 6.30am. While on the flight, she had developed a cough, but as she had no fever, she passed thru the airport scanners uneventfully. Later that same morning she visited her GP, who sent her to Tan Tock Seng Hospital due to her travel history. She is currently being treated at the Communicable Disease Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is in stable condition. Passengers who had travelled in the same flight and were seated in rows 52 to 58 are urged to call the hotline at 1800-333 9999 to enable the MOH to check on their health condition.
