Free Cone Day - 29th April 2008

Did you guys have the free icecream treat from Ben & Jerry's?

Today I didn't break my previous record of eating 6 cones last year.

I had 2 cones. Still not bad cause it is free and I came after my work ard 6.15pm which I only have 45min time to queue for as many cone as I can.

Tommy got to eat 4 cones in total. He went there earlier with his bro and friend for 2 cones and later met up with me, Gary, Edwin, Siyi and Puwei (Siyi's friend) and got another 2 more cones. Tommy, don't be too proud. Cause you gonna get fat!!! Haha... (Joking)

He must be feeling super shiok getting to eat the 5 different flavours they have there.

3 Kiehl's Boys- Gary, Edwin and Tommy queuing for thier ice cream

This is Singaporean... Quite a long queue... But I am still going to queue for it!

Wait for me Ben & Jerry's icecream.... I am coming!

Finally our turn to get our free icecream...

"Can I have a Chocolate Therapy icecream please, thanks..."

See our satisfying faces? Yeah our 1st cone!!!

My 1st cone- Chocolate Therapy is yummy!!! I felt so sinful!!!

Not forgetting to donate to the Singapore Children's Society...

Thanks the girls for trying their best to dig icecream for us!!! =p

The girl said, "No more queuing, thank you for coming! Come back again 29th April 2009!"

It's 7pm already. So lucky we got in our 2nd cone queuing!

That girl has a big yellow glove stating "Save me some Chunky Monkey, I'm Last in Line"

Finally we got our 2nd cone and I tried the Chunky Monkey this time! It's so yummy!!!

After eating the icecream, we walked our way to Cineleisure and have our dinner at Long John Silver. Then meet up with Sarah and go home.

INTERVIEW WITH MR WORLD SINGAPORE 2022 (SENIOR): S3 UMAR ABDUL HAMID

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. But i guess everything was worth it in the end.  2) What was the prep process like? From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

My Honest Review of the LUMOS Tablet — Budget-Friendly, Surprisingly Capable

I’ve always had a soft spot for discovering local tech gems — and that’s how I stumbled onto the LUMOS Tablet. You probably know LUMOS for their projectors, but they’ve recently launched a tablet that caught my attention. Spoiler: For the price, it actually delivers. Here’s my personal take after using it for a couple of weeks — plus the specs you’ll want to know. ⸻ First Impressions Unboxing the LUMOS Tablet felt like a good start. It has a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS Display (1920 x 1200), which immediately stood out — bright, clear, and vibrant enough for Netflix marathons or YouTube spirals. The tablet weighs around 500g and has a sleek, modern design that doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s light enough to toss in your tote or backpack without feeling like you’re carrying a brick. ⸻ Under the Hood – Technical Specs Here’s a quick look at what powers this tablet: • Processor: Octa-Core 2.0GHz • RAM: 4GB • Storage: 64GB (expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD) • Operating System: ...
