Double Boil Papaya with White Fungi (Hot/Cold)- $4.60
This is a very nourishing soup!!!
Because the soup inside contained White fungus (Xue Er) 雪耳 which has been prized for its medicinal benefits, namely anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor. In Chinese families, it is commonly used in soups cooked for soothing purposes like nourishing the bodies, healing dry coughs and clearing heat in the lungs.
There are also Red Dates ( Hong Zao ) 紅棗 which has a sweet and warm properties. It is use for treating the stomach and spleen.
