Does this look like a Cinderella's Horse Carriage to you? It's look so fairytale to me... Then where is Cinderella? Just joking, there is no Cinderella. This Horse Carriage is just for display for people to take photo at the Singapore Turf Club. Yesterday (17 Jul 2011), I was invited to the Singapore Turf Club to witness the Emirates Singapore Derby- one of the top horse races that is held annually at the Kranji Racecourse in Singapore every mid-July. This race was staged left-handed on turf and is contested over 2400 metres of 1.24 miles or 10 furlongs. The race was open to four-year-old race hoses only. Fund-raising remains an important element of the Emirates Singapore Derby. This year, Emirates hopes to raise at least $100,000 to benefit five voluntary welfare organisations under the umbrella of the Community Chest of Singapore.
