Mid-Autumn Festival (2017) at the Goodwood Park Hotel

Always aiming to raise the bar in the creative realm, Goodwood Park Hotel is proud to introduce three new unique snowskin flavours that will make this season a memorable one. The talented pastry team is proud to present these new creations: Prickly Pear with Bergamot Snowskin Mooncake 冰皮仙人掌果佛手柑; Apple Cider Snowskin Mooncake 冰皮苹果酒; and Root Beer Snowskin Mooncake 冰皮根汁水.

Long-known for its delectable and innovative mooncake creations, Goodwood Park Hotel’s offerings this year also include popular snowskin signatures that feature premium durian and tropical fruit varieties, as well as traditional baked mooncakes – all freshly made with no preservatives. Available from 23 August to 4 October 2017, these irresistible mooncakes are presented in elegant boxes with exquisite Oriental illustrations.

Prickly Pear with Bergamot Snowskin Mooncake 冰皮仙人掌果佛手柑

A stunning new entry decked in a delightful hue of blush pink, this creation is made with the fruit of the cactus plant – also known as prickly pear. A fascinating ingredient that is purported to be very healthful, it lends a juicy texture and mellow sweetness to the confection. The use of bergamot yields a citrusy top note while diced pears add crunch to the filling mix.


Apple Cider Snowskin Mooncake 冰皮苹果酒 
Nett Price: $36 for two pieces 
A tribute to the fizzy favourite, this deep pink-coloured mooncake boasts a refreshing flavour that is a balance of sweet and tangy. Dotted with diced apples, this mildly-alcoholic creation is perfect to liven up the afternoon and best enjoyed with the same drink!

Root Beer Snowskin Mooncake 冰皮根汁水

A taste of nostalgia for some, this crowd-pleaser of a beverage has now morphed into a creamcoloured mooncake. Using root beer as a base, this version is given an added boost of flavours with vanilla beans and a tinge of rum. The Snowskin Combo features a selection of the hotel’s famed fruit-based mooncakes and is a great way to sample an assortment of different flavours. Each box contains one piece each of Prickly Pear with Bergamot, Mango with Pomelo, Cempedak and D24 Durian snowskin mooncakes. Waking up to ocean view is no longer a dream when you stay in  Hotel Nikko Bali’s Oceanfront Suite . Boasting a mixture of Balinese wooden style and modern comfort, the suite offers a private balcony with full view of the glorious Indian Ocean. 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. It really made me tear up seeing how emotional he got while on his knee 2) What was the prep process like? The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Though vigorous, I felt that they were all enjoyable with the class of 2022 around. 3) Are there any nervous moments and stress factors during the competition and how did you deal with it? Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
