Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2012-Technical Rehearsal

Last night (29 Dec 2011), I got a rare opportunities to meet up with the Lighting Designers, Mr Milton Arnold (Technical Manager of Lighting) and Mr George Panait (Assistant Technical Manager of Lighting) for Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2012!

It was certatinly my pleasure meeting up with them and hearing from them on their preparation for this year show on 31 Dec 2011.

They said they hope Singaporean and visitors to the bay will like their work!!! According to them, the preparation for the countdown celebration started since September and this year would be a spectacular sight with 20,000 Floating Wishing Spheres, transforming the bay into an art installation of Hope and Light.

It was truely not an easy task making sure all the light going in order and also the weather condition in Singapore had make it even challenging for them

I like to give my salute to all the people involving for the Countdown Celebration which include:

Artistic Director:
Benson Puah
Firework Music: Iskandar Ismail (Composer), Sunny Quek (Erhu). Yu Jia (Pipa), Elaine Yeo (English Horn), Vincent Goh (Clarinet), Benjamin Boo (Chinese Drums), Khor Ai Ming (Soprano), Chij Primary Toa Payoh (Children's Choir)

But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend.
