My First taste of the Viral Meet Mee Pan Mee
If you’re on TikTok or Instagram lately, you’ve probably seen Meet Mee Pan Mee everywhere.
This viral instant noodle from KL has been making waves for its chewy texture, savoury-sweet sauce, and that addictive fiery chili kick.

Naturally, I had to try it for myself — and wow, I get the hype.
The noodles cook up beautifully springy and bouncy, just like fresh ban mian, while the sauce coats each strand in umami-packed, savoury-sweet goodness. Top it off with crispy fried anchovies and smoky chili flakes, and every bite is a punch of flavour. I can totally see why people are stocking up!
Honestly, it’s so simple but so satisfying — perfect for a quick lunch or late-night craving. One bowl was definitely not enough for me… I was tempted to make a second one right after.
