AXA@POST Bringing Insurance Closer to you!!!

Hi everyone, recently I attended the Official Launch of AXA@POST!

You must be wondering what is AXA@POST?
Alright let me share with you! AXA@POST is a new retail channel born from an exclusive post assurance partnership between Axa and SingPost to offer Axa insurance solutions at SingPost branches. With SingPost’s extensive network, Axa hopes to bring its holistic suite of insurance products even closer to its customers.

THIS IS SO AMAZING!!! Customers will be able to purchase new insurance policies, and service their existing insurance policies, with even greater ease and convenience at 34 selected post offices.

The launch event was held at Post Bar, Fullerton Hotel.

Mr Jean-Louis Laurent Josi, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Asia and Dr Wolfgang Baier, SingPost’s Group Chief Executive Officer officiating the launch of AXA@POST with a ribbon-cutting ceremony

The move comes after Axa, one of the world’s largest insurers, announced in July 2013 an exclusive 10-year postassurance partnership with Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) to sell life insurance in 34 post offices across Singapore.

Whether if you are seeking insurance solutions for your car, home, and travels, to savings, life protection and investment plans, you can proceed to any of its current 34 AXA@POST branches (Click here to see the branches)  to make enquiries and purchase insurance for all types of coverage to suit your needs. That is so convenience!

Mrs Doina Palici-Chehab, Chief Executive Officer of Axa Insurance Singapore, said, “AXA@POST is an important part of our business strategy to expand our customer touch-points and bring insurance closer to our customers in Singapore. Today, I am pleased to be able to complete our insurance protection efforts by adding general insurance solutions. Axa is introducing mobile device systems for customers at AXA@POST outlets, offering ease of applications and browsing of information at one touch.”

Shared Mr Glenn Williams, Axa Life Insurance Singapore Chief Executive Officer, “We started operations for AXA@POST early this year and I am very pleased to see a strong take-up at all the branches. With general insurance now available, we are certain that more Singaporeans will benefit from a broader choice of channels and touch-points to go to for their insurance protection needs.”

So what are some of the upcoming plan for AXA@POST?
To benefit customers, by Q3 2015 Axa will be offering business solutions and further expand into 10 more SingPost branches, reaching a total of 44 SingPost outlets by the end of 2015. This is a strategy that will further reach out to and present customers with a holistic suite of protection solutions at a one-stop destination.

Ms Marjorie Ooi, SingPost’s Senior Vice President for Financial Services: “Our post offices are well placed to make insurance solutions accessible to people from all walks of life. Long served as hubs for customers, post offices provide choice and convenience to our customers, increasingly so as we continue to remodel our post offices to provide a more digital and seamless retail experience. We leverage also our omni-channel capability to offer AXA@POST beyond the traditional “brick and mortar” model, allowing customers to access insurance solutions round the clock via our digital platforms. This aligns with SingPost’s ongoing transformation to provide a more seamless, integrated omni-channel experience to our customers,” Ms Ooi added.

With tablets on hand, SingPost’s financial service ambassadors engage customers through a digital interactive platform before referring them to Axa financial consultants stationed at AXA@POST branches.

Apart from accessing life and general insurance at post offices, customers will also be able to purchase general insurance via SingPost’s digital assets such as singpost.com, mysam.sg and omigo.com.sg. Customers eligible for the AXA Rewards can also select their gifts via Omigo, and have their items delivered right to their doorstep by SingPost’s couriers.

Time to pop the champagne!!!

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. But i guess everything was worth it in the end.  2) What was the prep process like? From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. It really made me tear up seeing how emotional he got while on his knee 2) What was the prep process like? The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
