Art Seasons (Level 1)
Coinciding with Singapore’s 50th birthday this year, BIG Hotel is partnering Art Seasons. The gallery, situated within the hotel, has been pioneering emerging contemporary Chinese and Asian arts. Art Seasons aims to bring about a meaningful impact in the arts community by allowing the public to discover, promote, and support new and interesting work by young Asian talents. Chen Ke, Feng Zhengjie, Zhang Peng, Chi Peng, Jia Aili, David Chan, Wang Fanseng, Zhu Xinyu and PHUNK are some of the young contemporary artists who started with Art Seasons and have gone on to be internationally recognized since. As the purveyor of the arts and entertainment scene in Singapore,

If you realized BIG Hotel is always seen showing support for key arts-related initiatives and events. For example, BIG Hotel previously partnered with the Singapore International Film Festival 2014 and the Singapore Biennale 2013.

Gym (Level 1)

 FROTH cafe (Basement 1)
Complementing the hotel’s design-conscious Scandinavian interior is FROTH cafe, the newest addition to BIG Hotel where the café features an industrial design, with unfinished wood details for a “warehouse” look. BIG Hotel hopes that patrons will associate the word “FROTH” with not only the nice cuppa freshly brewed cappuccino topped with a generous layer of frothy milk that comes to mind, but also its palatable menu crafted by Chef Derrick Ow.

With over 11 years of culinary experience under his belt, Chef Ow plans to wow customers with his unique creations based on his own inspirations in combination of his experience of learning his craft under a Michelin-rated chef previously.

This is also where the guest will have their daily breakfast form 7am-10.30am.
The cafe is opening to public from 11.30am- 10am (Last orders at 9.30pm).
They are closed on every first monday of the month.

The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
