Young NTUC is fun and interesting!

Have you heard of Young NTUC?

As we all know NTUC stands for National Trades Union Congress.

Their mission is to help people earn a better living and live a better life.

For NTUC to remain relevant and representative of their workforce, it is critical for NTUC and affiliated unions to continue attracting young workers as union members, to better understand and appreciate their needs, concerns and aspirations, and to be their voice.

Today I was at NTUC Centre!

Before going there, I was so excited and looking forward to go there already.

It was my 1st time there!

Now guess why am I there for?
Ok... not easy to guess I know....
I was chosen as a one of the 5 male finalist for "Young NTUC Search for U" Contest and was there for a interview session.

I was featured in their magazine too! (Click for larger view)

The interview with the judges was really

no stress

and

not a formal kind...

It's more of like a chit chat session I would say cause the judges were really friendly and nice toward us.

Throughout the session, I had also learned more of Young NTUC's movements! I was impressed of what the Young NTUC can do!

Thanks to Young NTUC!

They even give all the finalist a goodie bag.

There was a pair of National Day Parade Admission Ticket too!

It's been s long I never attend the National Day Parade!

Now here is my chance! Yes!

'Up' - Pixar's Next Movie

What interest me for this two main characters?

I guessed it will be their AGE!

What a interesting match to pair a 78-years old man and a 8-years-old boy together for this film.

Carl, a 78-years-old balloon saleman having a lifelong dream to tie thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. Is that possible? Haha...

Russell. a 8-years-old explorer who was overly optimistic, went aboard in this adventurous trip with Carl. Wanna know what trouble had he caused? (So must watch this movie!!!)

Hey EVERYONE,

I just watched a refreshing behind the scenes featurette video that focuses on Pixar’s 10th and first 3D animated film UP.

I have heard nothing bad but good things about this movie and after watching this video on the film, I am immensely excited to see this film which will be out in Singapore 7th August.

Just the way these guys talk about the story and the elements they used to enhance it is just so cool and great.

It sounds like this could end up being Pixar’s best film yet. I hope is will be!

It was used in our grandfather's times.
The bulky and black in colour one....

Seriously can't imagine girls carrying

Getting a makeover...

Last week, went for a makover photoshoot at the Makeover Inc with Edison. The above photograghs were taken using my handphone before we went for the real makeover photoshoot.

The pictures taken by their professional photogragher came out quite nice too.

We each took about 30-40 over pictures and we be selecting some for keeping.

The photogragher even ask both of us to pose together for some shot and came out quite well too.

Will post those nice photo soon... Stay tune...

It had been a great wonderful journey during this competition.
No doubt that I did not make it to top 3...
I shouldn't be too upset as I already did my best...
I did not really lost...
I got to make friend with the other 11 finalists.
They are friendly and helpful...
