This stall uses a recipe that’s more than 30 years old, passed on from the owner’s father-in-law.

I like the white carrot cake as it is fluffy, with a deliciously smoky flavour.

There’s a good blend of textures – soft radish pieces, chewy egg and crunchy chye poh.
