Authentic Korean Restaurant Clarke Quay Singapore

Craving for Korean food and not sure where to have the best Korean food?

태우반점 Tae Woo Ban Jum is a Korean Restaurant (한국 중국집) located at The Central (6 Eu Tong Sen Street #03-84, Singapore 059817) and they specialises in Korean-Chinese food. The Korean restaurant is owned by a wonderful Korean couple, and one of them is the chef. And that probably explained why the Korean dishes tasted so authentic and by far the best I've tasted in Singapore.

If you wanna taste Jajangmyeon (자장면)  that you see on Korean dramas, you no longer have to fly to Korea to have them. You can easily get them at 태우반점 Tae Woo Ban Jum in Singapore.

The atmosphere is nice and clean. The restaurant is decked out with wooden tables and chairs that creates a relaxing and ‘chill’ atmosphere.

Korean Sweet and Sour Pork (Tangsuyuk)
Crispy deep-fried goodness in a delightfully sweet and tangy sauce!

Fried Chicken with Hot Soy Bean Sauce
A marvelous combination of flavor and texture: juicy, crisp, sweet, and hot.

Noodles with Black Bean Sauce and Spicy Seafood Noodle
Can't decide on which to have, why not have the best of both world.
Personally I like the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce, the distinctive black bean flavor with the texture of the noodles makes it very super addictive and you wish it never ends.

Scorched Rice Soup with Seafood
Gosh I love the gravy with the rice. There are lot of seafood in this pot of goodness! The pot can serves 2-3pax and it's going at SGD$43.

INTERVIEW WITH MR WORLD SINGAPORE 2022 (SENIOR): S3 UMAR ABDUL HAMID

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. But i guess everything was worth it in the end.  2) What was the prep process like? From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

My Honest Review of the LUMOS Tablet — Budget-Friendly, Surprisingly Capable

I’ve always had a soft spot for discovering local tech gems — and that’s how I stumbled onto the LUMOS Tablet. You probably know LUMOS for their projectors, but they’ve recently launched a tablet that caught my attention. Spoiler: For the price, it actually delivers. Here’s my personal take after using it for a couple of weeks — plus the specs you’ll want to know. ⸻ First Impressions Unboxing the LUMOS Tablet felt like a good start. It has a 10.1-inch Full HD IPS Display (1920 x 1200), which immediately stood out — bright, clear, and vibrant enough for Netflix marathons or YouTube spirals. The tablet weighs around 500g and has a sleek, modern design that doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s light enough to toss in your tote or backpack without feeling like you’re carrying a brick. ⸻ Under the Hood – Technical Specs Here’s a quick look at what powers this tablet: • Processor: Octa-Core 2.0GHz • RAM: 4GB • Storage: 64GB (expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD) • Operating System: ...
