New look for Shaw Theatres LIDO

(All photo courtesy of Shaw Online)

After 7 month of long waiting, Shaw Theatres Lido re-opened for business on 5 May 2011. According to Asiaone News reported it was a $20-million revamp. It's a new look for Lido!

Personally I have not been there yet but from the photograghs found from their facebook page, I was amazed and excited over it. I will be watching the movie Fast & Furious at Lido tonight and experience the NEW Shaw Threates Lido!!! Yeah!

The new Lido gave people a a classy, contemporary new look. I like the clean and white look!!!

I love the big glass window too! You will expect to see a good scenery view of Orchard road!!! Wow! I will snap some photo when I am there tonight too. Stay tuned for my blog update. =)

There were 11 new halls at the new Lido.

As see from the photo, the seats have more leg room! I like the chair, seem very comfortable right!!!

  3. Still prefers the Cathay chairs, bigger and more comfortable. Even the armrest are cushioned at cathay. For Shaw Lido, the armrest are plastic and seats are narrower.

  4. But i think this will be more easy to clean and more hygiene. The old one might trap dust and dirt easily. =)

From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
