VITASOY™ RECIPE- MALAY TOFU OTAH OTAH

MALAY TOFU OTAH OTAH


SERVES: 4 | PREP TIME: 15MINS | COOKING TIME: 20MINS

INGREDIENTS
300gm 300gm 2 tbsp Pinch
Fish fillet / kurau (minced) Prawns (shells removed, minced) Laksa Leaf (finely sliced)
Salt and pepper

Spice Mix:
1⁄2 pkt
90gm 30gm 2 tsp 10 oz 15gm 80gm 1⁄2 cup
VitasoyTM Tofu-Soup beancurd (puree until fine) Candle nut Lemongrass (only the inner part) Tumeric powder
Dried chilli Garlic Shallots Coconut cream

GARNISHES
1⁄2 pkt 1

VitasoyTM Tofu-Soup beancurd (cubed) Big red shallot (thinly sliced) Calamansi (halved)

STEPS
1. Combine all the ingredients for the spice mix together in a blender and puree until fine. 2. Pour the spice mix into a pot to fry until fragrant, then allow to cool. 3. When the spice mix has cooled, combine well with the fish, prawns, laksa leaves, salt and pepper. 4. Place a spoonful of the otah mix onto a banana leaf and gently top it with the tofu cubes. 5. Lightly steam the otah on a tray for 5-7min or until it is cooked.

Waking up to ocean view is no longer a dream when you stay in  Hotel Nikko Bali’s Oceanfront Suite .
