My Staycation at Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore

Thanks Hotel Jen for the warm hospitality! Hotel Jen is situated in the heart of Singapore's bustling Orchard Road. This is definitely an ideal hotel for anybody who love shopping and eating.


This is simply because Orchard Road is home to over 33 shopping malls and departmental stores – definitely a shopper’s haven! For food lovers, there are also many quality restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Western and even Indonesian) around the hotel. Fast food chains includes McDonald's, KFC, Yoshinoya, Subways and Long John Silver can also be found nearby. Movie lovers will also find great joy with Cathay Cineplex Cineleisure Orchard (one of the biggest cinemas in Singapore) just a stone throw away from the hotel!

Hotel Jen is 30 minutes away from Changi International Airport by taxi. It is also easily accessible by public transport with nearby Mass Rapid Transit station (Somerset Station) and bus-stops just a few steps away.

For normal rooms check-in , you may proceed to level 10. As for the Club Rooms with club privileges, you may check in at level 19

 
So we got the Superior City View room located at level 18.

Steam iron, ironing board,  umbrella and slippers can be found in the cupboard.
Have anything valuable? There is a electronic safe for you to safekeep them too!


Tea and coffee are provided in the room too!


Wow! There was a little note left in my room!  


 They got me a cup of fresh-cut fruits! Thanks!!!

This is the ice machine that  is able to disperse ice cubes, cold water and water with ice.
There is one on every floor!

Need to do some work? There is a nice desk at the corner for you to do your work.


Thanks Hotel Jem for the nicely packed ice gem biscuit (my childhood's favorite biscuit). 
Do you know they were first made by Huntley and Palmer of Reading, britain in the 1950s. During that time, there was just the biscuit bottom. The icing was added in 1910. The biscuits were an experiment with new biscuit technology.

Good news! You don't have to worry about the toiletries when staying with Hotel Jen!
This is simply because they provided shampoo, bath gel, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush etc  in the toilet too!

Hotel Nikko Bali (Oceanfront Suite) - Best Hotel in Nusa Dua

Waking up to ocean view is no longer a dream when you stay in  Hotel Nikko Bali’s Oceanfront Suite . Boasting a mixture of Balinese wooden style and modern comfort, the suite offers a private balcony with full view of the glorious Indian Ocean. To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night.
