Visited Egg & Berries at Westgate

Have you guys visited Westgate yet?
If you have not, I would like to recommend this great place Eggs & Berries outlet at Westgate.
They offers burgers, main courses as well as desserts at amazing prices!

Eggs & Berries is a mecca for families and office-goers who wish to satisfy their hankerings for beloved
American classics. This is the newly minted Eggs & Berries outlet at Westgate.

The Westgate branch follows the first outlet at Changi City Point. It is located in Jurong East,
a bustling area with transport hubs such as Jurong East MRT station and bus interchange.

The outlet is located on the second level of Westgate and a link bridge from Jurong East
MRT station gives patron direct and easy access.

Eggs & Berries at Westgateoffers an array of gourmet burgers which are exclusively
available at this outlet.Patrons will get to savour the Beef and Caprese Burger with Balsamic
Reduction, which is grilled Wagyu beef patty ($14.90) with a luxurious offering of
mozzarella, onion, tomatoes and aged vinegar. (The beef is really juicy!)

Those adventurous at heart must opt for the Pork and Sage Spiked Burger with Paprika
($12.90). Packing an extra oomph, both the spicy sage and smoked paprika lend the pork
patty a flavourful and spicy taste. All burger orders come with sides of wedges and mixed
greens. (This tasted really good too! But I prefer the beef!)

The restaurant also boasts one of the largest ranges of egg dishes in town, from Eggs
Benedict to French toast. Aesthetically pleasing, the Eggs Benedict Doppio ($14.90) is
presented in two shapes of flowers. The greens and slices of honey ham are fanned out so
that they form the petals. At the heart of the two flowers sit the eggs, which are prepared
using the sous vide technique. Coo as the egg yolk is pricked. The runny egg yolk will
drench the English muffins with all its goodness. Accompanying the marquee ingredient is
piping hot rosti, making this a filling dish. (I like the perfectly poached eggs!)

Kicking up the enjoyment level are the Truffle & Mushroom fries ($9.90). Drizzled with truffle
oil, the hunks of potatoes are also seasoned with sea salt, homemade mushroom powder
and parmesan cheese. (Great for sharing!!!)

Try the Aglio Olio with King River Prawns at just $19.90!!! There are also wild mushroons, onions and bacons, melted cheese topped with poached egg.

Pink Fish Steak at just $19.90 also! Big portion of Salmon Steak seasoned with spices, sea salt, served with lemon butter sauce, rosti, mixed greens and poached egg.

Wagyu Rump Steak at $29.90. Marinated with cajun spices and served with peppercorn saue, potato wedges, mixed greens and poached egg.

 Dessert time!!!
Those with a sweet tooth must not leave the restaurant without trying
the irresistible Homemade Crème Brulee ($4.90), which offers luscious crème custard with
caramel crackling.

Waffles with medley of fresh fruits!
Colourful as the name  "Over the Rainbow".
Great for sharing at a price of $17.90.
You an choose to add maple syrup, chocolate sauce or strawberry sauce over it too!

It is hard not to instagram this pretty dessert!

 Or you like Crepes?
This is their Devil's Chocolate ($17.90)!
Chocolate chips, chocolate  pearls, gooseberry, almond flakes served with chocolate chip cookie dough iceecream & topped with whipped cream.

What a great place for catching up with friends!

 About Eggs & Berries

Eggs & Berries is where gourmands can dig into hearty American classics served in
generous portions. True to the restaurant’s moniker, eggs round off the dishes. Diners can
have their eggs done in one of four methods: over easy, poached, scrambled or sunny side
up. For pancake and waffle lovers, diners can find different menus featuring in-house soft
and moist small pancakes that are served with three types of sauces: Maple Syrup,
Chocolate Sauce and Strawberry or Raspberry sauce. The mouth-watering waffles are
crispy on the outside and they are served with a scoop of ice cream — but they taste equally
good with butter and maple syrup!
A second outlet has also opened at Westgate. Here, patrons can get to savour gourmet
burgers at affordable prices. These gourmet burgers are available only at the Westgate
outlet.

Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
