What's best to spend your weekend having a great meal and chilling out at a nice cafe with friends and loved one.

Head over to Roosevelt's Dinner and Bar- an all-day restaurant that serves up modernist interpretations of American classics. They are the first in Singapore to offer a comprehensive specialty coffee menu, as well as an exciting wine programme that features only natural, organic, and biodynamic producers.


Roosevelt's has recently revamped their menu and also their interior appearance. 
So this is the best time to check them out!

Squid Ink Fish & Chips 
This ain't the usual fish & chips you have tried! Roosevelt's uses Fresh Sea Bass.
The beer battered fish is served with house-made mint cider tartar sauce and thick cut. Plus it stay cripsy for quite long. This is the best Fish & Chip I have tasted!

Teddy’s Bacon Cheeseburger 
The 180g house-made beef patty is extremely moist and juicy. The brioche bun is fluffy.


Beef Cheek Pappardelle 
The melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek braised in Chianti wine, served with fresh pappardelle pasta is my next favorite. Highly recommended!

 

 Affogato
If you like espresso and you like gelato {or ice cream} then this dessert is for you!
Usually most places uses Vanilla icecream, but Roosevelt uses Rocher flavoured icecream. To enhance the taste of this Italian dessert, Disaronno Originale (28% abv) was added!
Disaronno Originale is a liqueur that is made in Italy. It is amaretto-flavored, with a characteristic bittersweet almond taste.

The combination of all this ingredient tasted heavenly!!!




Churros Waffle 
Buttermilk waffles with cinnamon spiced sugar, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream.

When you come to Roosevelt, don't forget to try their Waffles because that is what they are also well known for. If you like food photography, standby your camera for the pouring shot!
