FATAL ACCIDENT!!! Doesn't mean you can speed if you owned a Ferrari 599 GTO!!!

Have you guys seen this video footage of the accident between
a Ferrari, taxi and motorcycle in Rochor Road accident whereby 3 people were killed?

This  horrific accident happened last Saturday, a speeding Ferrari slammed into a ComfortDelGro taxi leaving three dead and two injured.

Even if you owned a Ferrari 599 GTO, it does not give you a licence to SPEED in SINGAPORE!!!
Speeding may gives you a moment of thrill!

But come to think about it, IS THIS WORTH IT?

The driver of the limited edition $1.3 million Ferrari 599 GTO, Mr Ma Chi, 31 was killed on the spot while his female passenger, 20 sustained head injuries and is recovering in hospital.

Mr Ma Chi, a Chinese businessman, had just returned to Singapore after a business trip and had taken his supercar out for a spin at 3am on Saturday morning.

From the Video footage showed below
you can see Mr Ma beating a red light at the junction of Victoria Street and Rochor Road.

He slammed into the taxi which was moving off when the lights turned green in its favour.
The taxi driver, 52-year-old Mr Cheng Teck Hock suffered head injuries and died on Sunday.
He leaves behind his wife and three children.

Mr Cheng was ferrying Ms Shigemi Ito, a Japanese woman who was working in Singapore. The woman in her twenties was found unconscious and later died at the Singapore General Hospital.

As seen from the clip, at least eight lucky people escaped the horrific accident by just seconds.

The crash has sparked a debate on regulating supercars as netizens call for harsher restrictions on the high performance vehicles in congested Singapore while chairman of the Public Transport Council has pointed out that fast cars are not to blame but reckless drivers. Yes and I agreed to his point that you cannot blame on the fast cars for sure. It is the responsibility of each driver to drive safely.

This is also a warning to all DRIVERS NOT TO SPEED!!!
I have seen a lot of sport cars like this driving really fast at Orchard Road area.
Singapore is seriously just a small city and there is really no road or need for you to speed.
May all drivers please think of  the safety of yourself, your passenger and even for other road users too.

Let this be a lesson to learn!!!

  1. while the cars are not to blame, If people cannot be responsible with such a toy, that in a sense is a weapon, they maybe they should not be allowed to play with those toys. So sad

  2. Ya TOTALLY agreed to you! It is really sad for the TAXI Driver Family...

  3. The taxi driver family should seek legal aid to sue the Ferrari driver's estate for compensation.

The govt seems to be going out of its way to cover these reckless murderers on our road. Imagine a minster coming out to publicly declare assistance for the taxi driver's family. I am quite sure he wouldn't have bothered if the culprit isn't one of the govt's 'beloved' FT!

Just weeks ago, Chinese nationals have mowed down pedestrians with buses they were driving.

INTERVIEW WITH MR WORLD SINGAPORE 2022 (SENIOR): S3 UMAR ABDUL HAMID

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. But i guess everything was worth it in the end.  2) What was the prep process like? From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...
