Sometime back I had an ‘Exclusive media interview with Mikako Sanjo (Product Designer) and Miho Onizawa (Marketing) on Fujitsu’s LIFEBOOK CH702’.

Mikako:

The CH702 is the ultimate combination of beauty and performance. This new UltrabookTM comes with stylishly designed accessories which include a matching wireless mouse, a set of PC case and pouch, and an elegant, slim adapter.

The LIFEBOOK CH702 comes with the 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology and the latest Windows 8 operating system to provide an efficient and powerful performance machine. The 13.3-inch UltrabookTM weighs at approximately 1.45kg and measures at a slimness of 17.5mm. Equipped with more than 7 hours(1) of battery lifespan, the laptop is powered to provide full day usage for users on-the-go.

Design

Incorporating stylish touches, the CH702 features a pearl-design power button, elegant keycap finish and a delicate, cubic zirconia embellishment. The top casing has been constructed with an elegant and refined gradation with gold trim, and it features a cubic zirconia embellished flip latch that allows users to easily open the display panel.

The power button is adorned with a pearl-like accent, and the power status LED and Caps Lock keys are decorated with a LED light with diamond-cut surface. An exquisite gold ring frames each key on the keyboard, highlighting its elegant style.

In addition, the outtake and intake vents all feature a floral motif design. Colors available include white, pink and brown.

Fun Applications

The CH702 is pre-installed with Fujitsu’s new proprietary software, Diary and Scrapbook, that are convenient, fun and original applications that let users organise tasks, announce important updates, enhance photos, collate interesting information, and share on social media platforms such as Twitter or Facebook.

Scrapbook stores and organises pictures and WebPages that users come across when they are browsing the internet. The application allows users to create theme-based collages for saved content such as web captures. Content can easily be managed and shared with friends as a digital scrapbook. With Diary, users can create their very own journal by storing and organising Facebook and Twitter posts and downloaded photos.

The CH702 encompasses a variety of elegantly designed, matching accessories to enhance the user’s experience and to suit various needs.

Each laptop comes with a matching wireless mouse that is shaped like a pretty compact powder case; a PC case and adapter pouch with pearl charm; and a slim, bejewelled AC adaptor. 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. It really made me tear up seeing how emotional he got while on his knee 2) What was the prep process like? The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Though vigorous, I felt that they were all enjoyable with the class of 2022 around. 3) Are there any nervous moments and stress factors during the competition and how did you deal with it? Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
