This event is organised by Singapore Press Holdings' Chinese media Lianhe Wanbao, Radio 100.3, omy.sg and UW (U-Weekly). Attracted over 12,000-strong crowd in 2010, the objective of the SEA is to support the Chinese entertainment industry that popularises the use of the Chinese language. The awards recognise a spectrum of entertainment ranging from music, movies, TV, radio to concerts.

Apart from honouring the best talents in Singapore and Asia, it also helps to promote the local and regional Chinese entertainment scene. This year, SEA 2011 is proud to have a presenting sponsor, OCBC Titanium, for the first time.

With the inaugural OCBC Titanium Star of the Year Award, SEA 2011 promises to be more exciting. Fans of Asian pop stars will be eager to cheer for their idols who will battle for the top awards in the "Most Popular" and "Best"categories! The "Most Popular" awards are determined by public voting while the awards in the "Best" category will be judged by a professional panel comprising local and overseas media, as well as entertainment industry experts.

Last year's Most Popular Male and Female Singers were Show Luo and Stephanie Sun respectively while the Best Male and Best Female singer award went to Eason Chan and Tanya Chua.

Result For This Year
Winners of the SEA 2011 will be announced in end March. The qualifying period for nomination is from 1 December 2009 to 31 December 2010.

Live Telecast
This year's SEA 2011 Celebration Concert will also be telecast "live" on one of Starhub Cable TV’s channel E-City after the event at a later date.

1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. Aside from that, i was starting to feel a little more anxious that i should and a huge part of it was because i invited my mother to be part of the audience and i wanted the event to be memorable for her. From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. It really made me tear up seeing how emotional he got while on his knee 2) What was the prep process like? The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Though vigorous, I felt that they were all enjoyable with the class of 2022 around. 3) Are there any nervous moments and stress factors during the competition and how did you deal with it?
