You Can Also Make It Right For A Better Ride!!!

If you could recall sometime back there was this familiar jingle
“Train is coming, train is coming, train is coming.. Please Start Queuing, Love your rides”.
If you still can't remember, then watch this video below!!! =)

Yes!!! The Graciousness on Public Transport programme is back again this year!!!

Seen these poster?
Yes you may have noticed this posters around the bus interchange, MRT Station or even inside the trains or buses too!

These poster feature the winners from the "Make It Right for a Better Ride" contest organised for the student last year, as well as thoughs from the Seniors from SAGE and calligraphic verses by the members of Life Art Society.

Have you also noticed the lines and arrows on the floor?
Yes I felt with those lines, it is more easy for people to follow and give way to alighting passenger before boarding the train too!!!
Singaporean queuing at Raffles Place Mrt Stn for the train.
This is a Gracious and Good practice to see in Singapore!!! Keep it up

Here are some of the bad habits spotted in Singapore by some commuters which I felt it shouldn't happen again.
Cutting nails inside the train
Few years back, someone STOMP this lady for cutting her nails inside the train!!!
Such act are discouraged!!! I'm sure you won't want to see your photo in STOMP right.

Be considerate to alighting passenger

Do not hog onto 2 seats too...
Be considerate to other passenger who need to hold the pole.

Be considerate to other passenger

My personal experience when taking the MRT ride:
I think nowaday passengers had been more mindful and will always give up their seats to elderly or people in need. This is a GOOD SIGN right?

Beside that, I also realised that people are now educated to give way to alighting passenger before boarding the train. This is ANOTHER GOOD SIGN right?

Singapore! Let's continue to MAKE IT RIGHT FOR A BETTER RIDE!!!

Simple Steps to follow:
1)Look left and right if there are any elderly or people who need the seats better and give up the seat to them.
2)When aboarding the train, always give way to alighting passenger.
3)Do not hog onto more than 1 seat and deprive other passengers to have the seat.
4)Do not lean on to the handle inside the train and deprive other to hold on for support.

 1) During your entire time of Mr World Singapore 2022 from the time you auditioned till you won the title, tell us - what was the most overwhelming moment for you? Personally, as the grand final day drew nearer, and diet and water had to be stricter, it was hard trying to keep up with the nutrition portion as well as the rest and recovery portion. From the auditions all the way to the Grand Finals, i knew i had to step up as prior to the audition, i let myself go quite abit because of the fact that i was juggling between work and handling my 3 children. But i guess after the audition. i made a clear intent to give 100% to get ready for the grand finals and since then, i made more conscious de...

To be honest, it was when i saw my friend Stanley give the most touching proposal on coronation night. The prep process was pretty vigorous nearing towards the end, as there were many events to go for and practices to attend. Though vigorous, I felt that they were all enjoyable with the class of 2022 around. 3) Are there any nervous moments and stress factors during the competition and how did you deal with it? Yes definitely, Im always nervous whenever there is a Q&A segment as im afraid I’ll freeze up on stage or not be able to give a satisfactory answer.
